You may easily recognize our April Cover Girl, Niki Ghazian from her numerous appearances in FHM, or maybe have even seen her out in Hollywood on the scene attracting oodles of attention with her Lingerie Bowl teammates. The Los Angeles native, who has been stamped a socialite, owes her success in modeling to her sultry and exotic looks, a direct result of her Persian ancestry. Despite being nominated for a coveted spot on FHM’s 100 Sexiest list this year, and being romantically linked to star athletes, Ghazian has a somewhat normal side to her life. The 26 year old model-socialite is also a Law Student. Niki has been quoted in the past as “wanting to be recognized for something other than [her] looks,” and spends her down hours hitting the books and planning her post-modeling career. The bad girl gone good, focuses her philanthropic efforts in her hometown of Santa Monica, at homeless shelters, spending holiday hours helping out. In a candid interview, Niki shares with us her love for football, her past bad girl antics, and the ‘ruckus’ she caused as a teenager while growing up in Los Angeles.
1. What’s your Ethnicity?
I’m Persian, with a pinch of Russian from my Dad’s side of the Fam.
2. What’s your astrological sign?
Taurus.
3. Where are you originally from?
Santa Monica, CA (West Los Angeles).
4. What did you like most about growing up in Los Angeles?
Growing up in LA is great because there is always so much to do. For example, you can surf and snowboard in the same day, quite literally. I don’t think there is another city in the world where that is possible.
5. What kind of mischief did you into while growing up?
A better question would be what kind of mischief didn’t I get into. We use to set off random fire works all over the city in the middle of the night, get chased by cops. Did I mention I’m a really fast runner? My friends and I were so bad, we use to sneak out at night steal our parent’s cars and joyride way before we were old enough to have a license. I learned all the freeways in the LA area that way. When I finally got my license I remember I was on the freeway with my mom one day, and she was stunned, asking me how I know all the freeways. I could go on and on about the Rukus I’ve caused growing up in LA, pun intended.
6. What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Can I give you a list? Just kidding. Probably one time in High School, my friends and I were partying in Malibu and decided to go streaking down Pacific Coast Highway, followed by a skinny dip in the ocean. Fun times.
7. What brought you to LA?
My parents.
8. What’s your favorite hobby and why?
Playing and Watching Football. I believe football is the greatest sport known to mankind. It takes strength, agility, mental prowess, and athletic ability more than any other sport. I play for the Los Angeles Temptations in the Lingerie Football League. Snowboarding is probably my second favorite hobby, followed by Surfing.
9. What’s your guilty pleasure?
Being lazy. I love laying around naked doing absolutely nothing.
10. Who do you admire?
Madonna. I had mixed feelings about her growing up, I thought she was weird, specially when she did you know what with a DOG. But I’ve come to realize she is a Boss Bitch, she is the poster child for Blonde Ambition. She pretty much took over the world.
11. What’s one of your personal goals?
To take over the World. No, my number one personal goal is to be Happy. I don’t mean momentarily happiness, I want to attain a situation in my life, both professionally and personally, where my good days outnumber my bad days by far.
12. What do guys compliment you on the most?
Guys who know me compliment me on my personality, and how “cool” I am. Guys I just meet compliment me on how “beautiful” I am. As far as physically, I’d say I get complimented on my body in general.
13. What’s your favorite body part on yourself?
My booty, My breasts, & my Abs.
14. What’s your least favorite body part on yourself?
My arms. I use to swim competitively since I was 9 years old all the way up to college. Thankfully I’ve lost a lot of the muscle I had in my upper body, but I still think my arms and shoulders are too big and bulky. If I could change one thing it would be to make my arms skinnier.
15. What do you look for in a guy?
Honesty, Sincerity, Swagger, Sex Appeal, Sense of Humor, Athleticism, and Street Smarts.
16. What’s the first thing you notice about a guy?
His eyes.
17. What turns you on?
Guys with sex appeal. This is different from just being good looking. I’m never attracted to a guy just because he is good looking, he has to bring it with the sex appeal.
18. What turns you off?
Liars, Cheaters, Liars, Liars, Lack of Character, Lack of Integrity & Core Values. I like a guy who is in touch with who he is and isn’t easily swayed from it.
19. What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Liars and Idiots.
20. Who’s your celebrity pass?
I’ve already hooked up with my celebrity pass in real life so now I have to think of a new one :). Plus I’m single so I can date who I want to at this point.
