INTERIOR:
The GT500’s design team challenged itself to create the ultimate Shelby Mustang interior. They used genuine leather materials in all the seats, real aluminum on the instrument panel and Alcantara ® inserts on the seats and steering wheel giving you a precisely crafted, jewel-like appearance while keeping it functional. The classic white shift knob is an added bonus letting you flashback to the days of the past while cruising into the future.

EXTERIOR:
The Shelby will come equipped with a set of 19-inch Goodyear F1 Supercar tires and forged aluminum wheels (convertible comes with 18s) giving you a dynamic driving experience. An obvious difference for the 2010 Shelby is the addition of the racing stripes. A lower-drag spoiler and more aggressive front splitter are added to improve the aerodynamics. Don’t forget about the unique signature coiled Cobra badges on the front grille and front fenders. This will let everyone know your bite is venomous.

ENGINE:
The 2010 Shelby is set to deliver you more horsepower and torque for your dollars, this is due to advancements pioneered on the GT500KR. A cool-air intake feeds the coolest air possible directly into the air box, helping to increase horsepower. The Shelby’s distinct sounds will be apparent as always, though with new refinements, due to the work of the Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) team. The 540 hp V8 and 510 lb.-ft torque are a force to be reckoned with.

SAFETY:
You can’t take safety lightly when it comes to this much hp and torque. To put your mind at ease Ford has added a few features such as: AdvanceTrac® ESC® (Electronic Stability Control), Personal Safety System™, which includes seat belt pretensioners, load limiting retractors, dual stage front air bags, side impact air bags, driver seat position sensing, crash severity sensing and the Post-Crash Alert System (SOS), which automatically flashes the turn signal lamps and sounds the horn following deployment of an air bag or activation of the safety belt pretensioner.
